Job Overview

We are currently developing the SaaS version of our old desktop-based Practice Management System for Independent Optometrists. It is called Ocelot and you can find more information about it here:

We have already started development using Python (Django), Angular JS, and PostgreSQL. We need someone who can assist in the backend work needed to develop the rest of the modules and then complete the remaining modules.

We also have other development projects in the pipeline for our other businesses and clients. The successful candidate will be involved in these projects too.

Qualifications

We are then looking for: 

• A highly skilled and highly motivated mid to senior-level developer. 
• 5+ years of experience in Laravel, PHP, and Vue.
• Experience in building a SaaS is preferred. 
• Experience in building medical or health-related software or website apps is an advantage. 
• A prior experience working for an Australian business is a must.
• You should also be willing to take a programming test first with us.

Performance Measurement

The Full Stack Developer will be delivering the agreed work to the agreed standard and to the agreed time unless changes to quality and timeframes are mutually agreed upon. This includes the following:

Timeliness – making sure that the project is delivered on time as agreed by the manager.

Quality of Work – output should represent 100% quality of work based on the requirements.

Response time – the employee is expected to respond to the first request follow-up within 15 to 30 minutes.

Attention to detail – understanding the requirements of the project.

Working Hours

Standard Time:

• 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Manila Time, Monday to Friday.
• 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Australian Eastern Standard Time, Monday to Friday.

Daylight Savings Time:

• 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, Manila Time, Monday to Friday.
• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Australian Eastern Daylight Time, Monday to Friday.
